Statement of Faith

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, without error in its original writings, and His final revelation to humanity. It is the foundation of our faith and the standard for all belief and practice.

God

We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are equal in deity and glory, yet distinct in person and work.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will return again in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, brings new life, indwells every believer, and equips God’s people for holy living and faithful service.

Creation and Humanity

We believe God created all things and created mankind in His image, male and female, for His glory. We believe marriage is God’s design, a covenant union between one man and one woman. Humanity fell into sin through disobedience and is now separated from God, in need of redemption.

Salvation

We believe salvation is by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. Through His death and resurrection, sinners are forgiven, justified, and made new by the power of God.

The Church

We believe the church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers, gathered locally for worship, teaching, fellowship, prayer, and gospel witness. Christ is the head of the church.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

We believe baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances given by Christ to His church, serving as visible testimonies of the gospel and the believer’s faith in Him.

Christian Living

We believe that every believer is called to live in obedience to God’s Word, growing in holiness, love, and faithful service through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Return of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly, that the dead will be raised, and that all people will stand before God in final judgment.

Eternity

We believe in the eternal joy of the redeemed in the presence of God and the eternal judgment of those who reject Christ.

The Mission of the Church

We believe Christ has commanded His church to proclaim the gospel to all people, make disciples, and glorify God among the nations.
